Dr. Tejal Kakade
Dr. Tejal Kakade, originally from Carrollton, GA, started her dental practice in 2012. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Georgia and received her dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 2009. From there, Dr. Tejal completed a General Practice Residency in Brooklyn, New York and then moved back to open her general dentistry practice. Over the years, Dr. Tejal has made significant strides in advancing her education. She received her master’s in general Dentistry through the Academy of General Dentistry, which is something that less than 5% of dentists in the country achieve. Additionally, she received her Masters and Board Certification in Orofacial Pain in 2024 from the University of Southern California. Dr. Tejal also became a Kois Graduate in 2024 which is an advanced curriculum in restorative dentistry.
Dr. Tejal is married to Dr. Neal Shah who is also a general dentistry. His practice is in Midtown Atlanta and together they live in Smyrna, Georgia. She and her husband have three children, a dog, and a cat and love to travel and spend time with family. Dr. Tejal enjoys reading, meditation, and overall wellness.
